Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Senior Manager, Social Media to lead our brand and corporate public relations efforts across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic social media campaigns that enhance our brand and corporate presence, engage our audience(s), and drive meaningful conversations.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with overall brand objectives and PR initiatives.

* Content Creation: Develop compelling and on-brand content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, to engage our audience and promote our brand values. *Will partner with production team and external agency on creative pieces*

* Community Management: Monitor, respond to, and engage with followers across social media platforms to build strong relationships and foster a vibrant online community.

* Analytics & Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

* Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications and Marketing teams to integrate social media efforts with broader campaigns and initiatives.

* Trend/Competitive Monitoring: Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging social media platforms to keep our brand relevant and innovative.

Interaction:

* Collaboration: Working with team members, departments, or external partners.

* Communication: Engaging in conversations, meetings, or correspondence to share information, provide updates, or resolve issues.

* Engagement: Interacting with colleagues across the organization, as well as external agencies and partners to understand their needs, address concerns, or provide support.

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.

* 5 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a brand PR role.

Qualifications:

* Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their respective audiences.

* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.

* Experience with social media analytics tools and a data-driven mindset.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

* Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and brand building.

* Must have digital experience in pharmaceutical space

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

* In-depth understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn) and their respective audiences.

* Awareness of current trends in social media, marketing, and PR.

* Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a strong attention to detail.

* Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).

* Strong visual and graphic design skills, with experience using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).

* Ability to develop creative and engaging content that aligns with brand messaging.

* Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.

* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with diverse audiences.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Travel Requirements:

* Travel may be required up to 20% of the time to attend PR/marketing events as needed.
