Job Title: Sr. Manufacturing Engineer Location: Hodges South Caroline
- Lifting Device & Crane Setup: Design, install, and maintain lifting devices and crane systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation aligned with production requirements.
- Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing processes to increase productivity, reduce waste, and minimize operational costs.
- Safety Engineering: Develop and implement safety protocols, risk assessments, and hazard control measures, focusing on compliance with OSHA and industry safety standards.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that manufacturing processes meet quality standards through regular monitoring, analysis, and process adjustments.
- Maintenance Coordination: Work closely with the maintenance team to schedule preventive maintenance and resolve issues with lifting and crane equipment, minimizing downtime.
- Documentation & Compliance: Maintain thorough documentation of all processes, modifications, and safety procedures to support regulatory and safety compliance.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to team members on the safe operation of lifting devices, cranes, and other relevant equipment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with lifting devices, crane systems, and safety engineering in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA standards and other safety regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement and risk mitigation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
