Supported by a team of professionals skilled in design, sourcing, production, sales, marketing & distribution of premium quality children's wear, Haddad distributes globally to 100+ countries and maintains sales and sourcing offices in 22 cities globally, including New York, Paris, Hilversum, Shanghai, Egypt, Bangkok, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, London and Montreal Overview:The Sr. Merchandiser will manage the strategy, vision, and execution of merchandising initiatives for a department.Key Accountabilities:
- Support the development of Quarterly Business Reviews for licensor executives that indicate current sales, future strategies, and opportunities in the market
- Manage alignment of brand consumer and customer strategies to achieve sales goals and profitable targets in coordination with marketing, sales, and design
- Develop and manage strong, effective relationships with corporate partners and cross functional teams to help identify growth opportunities
- Oversee the seasonal postmortem recaps and sales results to influence retail prices and create seasonal line plans to initiate product creation while managing overdevelopment
- Lead cross functional teams (Licensor, Sales, Planning, Design and Sourcing) to ensure division alignment, execution of merchandising strategies and overall company vision
- Support the relationship for your assigned brand licensee to execute the vision of the brand and maintain alignment and consistency in the marketplace
- Conduct market research and analysis on competition in relation to brand(s) to influence line pricing and MSRPs that will drive the business
- Partner with sales/sourcing to eliminate changes where possible
- Attend all licensor milestone meetings and present the product accordingly
- Create merchandise/directed assortments to execute the direction of the brand and maximize bookings at market to capture strong retail sales
- Analyze bookings at market and selling at retail to identify future opportunities
- Be the primary point of contact to Marketing to lead in the development of brand awareness, advertising, photo shoots, and in store support
- Present product line at pre line and select market meetings
- Recruit top talent, train and develop team members
- Supervise staff and provide direction and management to team members
- Special projects as assigned
RequirementsRequired Skills/Abilities/Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration or related field
- 5+ years of experience in the wholesale fashion industry
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 40%)
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Must be a strategic thinker, persuasive and collaborative

Salary Description $75,000 - $125,000 yearly
