Performs direct patient care such as bathing, assisting with elimination, bed making, and vital signs. Transports patients and patient-related materials in a safe, timely, and professional manner. Greets and orients patients to the patient care area. Performs meal service and feeding assistance functions. Provides additional select care to patients. Collaborates with other team members to perform other services as directed.Exceptional Skills and QualificationsApplicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.High School diploma or GED requiredAbility to use a computer for documentation and work related purposesStrong written, verbal and nonverbal interpersonal and professional communication skills are required.Demonstrates accountability for own actionsProvides service in a willing and courteous mannerDemonstrates ability to prioritize, organize and multi-task.Able to take direction well, but also be self-directed and motivated.Requires a high degree of responsibility and responsiveness.Deal effectively with patients, visitors, situations, and other Care Team members, while maintaining emotional controlAdditional requirementsMust be able to liftMust be available for one week of full-time trainingThree (3) months of Clinical Experience or CNA license required OR currently enrolled in Nursing schoolWhy Community?At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication and collaboration.
