Major product lines include fuel dispensers, tank gauges and fleet management systems.Description:The Senior People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) for Gilbarco provides HR leadership and expertise to business leaders and line managers on the people-related matters affecting their business. The Senior PCBP will lead the labor and employee relations activity for the Greensboro, NC manufacturing facility. The Senior PCBP will also be responsible for leading a broad range of HR activities including organization and leadership development, organizational design, change management, compensation administration, talent acquisition, and employee and labor relations.The Senior PCBP adds value by partnering with business clients to provide innovative P&C solutions and approaches with a singular focus on driving success and meeting business objectives. This position will be based onsite out of Gilbarco Veeder-Root's (the Company ) corporate headquarters in Greensboro, NC; supporting the Operations function. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate as a business partner understanding the business strategies, goals, objectives, and financial performance of the organization; b uilding ongoing relationships with leaders, managers and other stakeholders; and using this knowledge and understanding to drive key HR strategies and initiatives to support the operational and strategic goals.
  • Partner and coach leadership on talent management, talent review, succession planning, organizational design, compensation, and change management.
  • Establishes and maintains satisfactory labor management relations, formulates, and administers the Company's labor relations policy and strategy subject to senior leadership's guidance and approval. Represents management in labor relations matters, including the negotiation, interpretation, and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
  • Provides leadership and counsel to management on CBA related issues. Leads the organization through difficult labor relations activities and investigations while developing and training line management on effective investigation and corrective action procedures.
  • Lead and administer all activities supporting the grievance processes. Represent the Company in grievance related hearings at the Piedmont Grievance Committee and/or arbitrations.
  • Drive effective talent acquisition strategies and processes to meet the demands of the business. Screen and interview candidates, managing the interview process, provide advice and counsel throughout talent acquisition process.
  • Provide hands-on support to employees and managers utilizing various HR systems, tools, processes, and policies.
  • Identify and support the professional learning and development of the Operations team (salary and union associates).
  • Develop and support programs designed to enhance the employee experience.
  • Measure and monitor key HR Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Develop countermeasures and action plans to drive KPI performance.
  • Ensure the reliability and security of employee data, maintain employee files.
  • Define and implement company policies and practices, ensuring legal compliance and consistent application.
  • Assure awareness of the significant environmental aspects and environmental compliance obligations of your operations and ensure controls are in place
#LI-AB1Qualifications: Background and Skill
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
  • SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification a plus.
  • At least 5+ years progressive HR generalist business partner (required), manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • At least 2+ years union/labor relations experience (required).
  • At least 2 years of experience with MS Office Suite; HRIS, Payroll, and ATS system.
  • Experience working independently in a highly decentralized, process oriented, and hands-on organization with the ability to resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing, fast paced, and highly complex environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and execute flawlessly with high attention to detail.
  • Strong written/oral communication, effective presentation and facilitation, conflict resolution, and influence skill.
  • Strong problem solving with the ability to implement the best solutions.
  • Demonstrated process orientation skills and experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing.
