Assured Information Security (AIS) is looking for Senior Principal Cyber Architect to serve as the leader of cyber solution development in support of mission-critical cyber operations. In this role you will be establishing and leading a technical team and directing the analysis of customer requirements and the creation of novel engineering solutions to support customer objectives. This support will include front-end clients, back-end services and low-level applications using many different programming languages. This work will include reverse engineering and analysis of operational cyber physical networks. What You'll Do:
- Identify, understand, and provide creative solutions to address real world cyber operations requirements.
- Understand customers and their needs and work with them to develop novel solutions for real world cyber operations requirements.
- Develop a technical roadmap and research paths to advance AIS cyber capabilities.
- Contribute to processes to improve team efficiency and practices.
- Mentor peers and subordinates, providing guidance and direction.
- Identify and protect critical technologies, provide technical write-ups for patents and disclosures, etc.
Education/Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline and 14 years relevant work experience with engineering and developing cyber solutions OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 8 years' experience with C/C++/Python.
- 5 years' experience as an Agile/SCRUM Master.
- 5 years' experience with configuration management (Gitlab) for version control, project planning, issue tracking and collaboration.
Skillset Required
- Ability to describe highly technical software systems and express technical solutions in an understandable, customer-appropriate fashion.
- Solid understanding of secure software development practices.
- Familiarity with Offensive Cyber Operations concepts.
- Experience with software development tools such as CMake (or similar) to create interfaces or multiple IDE environments for plugin creation.
- Working knowledge of project collaboration systems such as Git fluency for version control, GitLab for project tracking and execution and SharePoint.
- Strong technical writing and presentation abilities.
