Develops overall marketing programs for the sale of EAF components and Fabrication and Spare parts . Coordinates the development of sales objectives and strategies to insure the execution of these programs.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a close contact with potential customers and equipment/technology partners.
Develops and recommends marketing objectives.
Maintains contacts with international divisions and works closely with inhouse sales and marketing staff, providing them with technical support.
Participates in pre-bid meetings. Develops strategies for projects and/or potential clients. Prepares and coordinates proposal activities incorporating all subsuppliers and consortium partners.
Conduct and supervise all necessary technical calculations, overall machinery design and layout coordination, and preparation of technical specifications.
Responsible for the development and finalization of the proposal documents, and cost budgets delivered to the client.
Responsible for proposal presentations to the client or participation as a team member of Primetals Technologies' organization at presentations.
Responsible for the development of documents, cost budgets, and price budgets for any addenda and/or changes required for the proposals.
Arrange and coordinate visits for potential customers to Primetals Technologies' facilities and tours of plans designed by Primetals Technologies as well as participate in these visits if attendance facilitates potential business.
Visit Primetals Technologies' facilities to augment knowledge of Primetals Technologies technology and review market place and business strategy.
Participate and may lead contract negotiations, technical as well as commercial.
Although after award of contract, duties and obligations are as specified in a separate project organization, it is important that the responsibility is retained for the project.
Performs other related duties as required.
Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering or related field.
Knowledge of technology for cold mills and sale of industrial equipment.
Minimum of ten years of experience with a combination of design engineering, process engineering, sales, and contract negotiations.
High degree of motivation and flexibility, excellent communication skills, high ability to work with a team and lead and develop employees.
