Sponsored Products (SP) helps merchants, retail vendors, and brand owners grows incremental sales of their products sold on Amazon through native advertising. SP achieves this by optimizing systems and ad placements to match advertiser demand with publisher supply using a combination of machine learning, big data analytics, ultra-low latency high-volume engineering systems, and quantitative product focus. As a Senior Product Manager (Technical) for the SP Ads Search Supply and Experience team, you will be responsible for building industry first ad experience that elevates the shopper experience. You will be the product visionary for a green field space in the advertising domain with the end goal of making product discovery simpler, smarter, and efficient. You will also be tasked with elevating our user experience through continuous experimentation, out-of-box thinking, and technical deep dives to make data driven business decisions. You bring strong negotiation skills to align on roadmap prioritizations across internal and external stakeholders, and are comfortable in making high judgment decisions.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive the vision and mission for a new advertising experience. Think outside the box to test bold and novel ideas with the goal of optimizing the shopper experience.
- Work across internal and external stakeholders to align on experimentation and technical roadmap.
- Execute on roadmap and big ideas to drive both shopper and business impact.
- Make steady incremental progress towards the end state by striking the right tradeoff between tactical and long term choices.
- Comfortable in making high judgment decisions, and driving alignments with stakeholders with varying view points.
- Our systems are complex and you need to be curious person and also able to dive deep into all our upstream and downstream systems to understand how it impacts our products and collaborate with partner teams to customize solutions as and when needed to uplevel the quality of our products.
- Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and adept in managing expectations with senior leadership team.

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
