We are looking for talented, motivated and ambitious team members to revolutionize robotic surgery.About The Team:The Product Quality Engineering Team at Noah Medical is responsible for ensuring top-notch quality and performance in the Galaxy system, including hardware and software. We investigate technical issues to find root causes, monitor system health in the field, collaborate with the MedEd and Sales teams to share insights, and support design and process changes with the R&D and Manufacturing teams. Join us to contribute to Noah Medical's growth and to shape the future of medical robotics.A Day In The Life Of Our Sr. Product Quality Engineer, Robotics and Controls:Become an expert in the robotic system and controls algorithms that govern robot behavior for the Galaxy systemDrive the testing and failure analysis of robotics subsystems to identify root causes, and implement effective solutions and workarounds efficiently.Perform methodical root cause analyses. Document the findings in clearly written reports/presentations.Partner with sales, service, manufacturing, and engineering teams to investigate and root cause issues.Develop and test workarounds and mitigations for existing issuesDevelop data analysis tool to automate basic troubleshooting and investigationTravel to external sites (up to 15% domestically) for root cause assessment and data collectionAbout You:5+ years of experience in a related role - troubleshooting controls and robotics in complex systems.Experience working with C++ and Python codebases that control capital equipment.Enjoys putting the puzzle pieces together to figure out how things work and fail. Good problem solver.Comprehension of clinical context and use of medical devicesExperience managing and analyzing large sets of data and effectively communicating results to cross-functional stakeholders.Able to work independently, and the determination to get through challenging problems.Has thorough theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in kinematics, dynamics, feedback control, sensors, and actuators. Please note that the aforementioned range is only one component of the position's total compensation package.California Pay Range$144,900—$181,100 USDNoah Medical may offer remote, hybrid, or onsite work arrangements within the state of California depending on the specific team and/or role where applicable.
