Responsibilities
- Coordinates the management of all work performed under the contract.
- Serves as the primary point of contact between CMS and the contractors team, facilitating communication and resolving any issues related to the program.
- Oversees and has full authority over the administration and execution of the contract, ensuring alignment with the expected objectives and outcomes of the contract.
- Responsible for all phases of performance, including contract management, coordination of resource needs, and has direct accountability for the accuracy, timeliness, and quality of deliverables.
- Communicates both orally and in writing, with the Government and Contractor management in the planning and control of this project; this includes advising CMS of any difficulties arising from the administration of the contract.
Requirements
- A minimum of ten (10) years professional experience with managing same/similar, large-scale projects.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex multi-stakeholder projects.
- In-depth understanding of federal healthcare policies; especially those related to drug pricing, pharmaceutical supply chain; pharmaceutical negotiations; and best practices in program monitoring, oversight, and compliance.
- Able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of the regulatory requirements of the Inflation Reduction Act, Federal prescription drug programs, and applicable Medicare program/benefit (Part B/Part D).
