Job Description:

Senior Program Management Operations Analyst Fibertek is a leading developer of laser and electro-optic systems for the aerospace community, with key contributions to lasers for atmospheric sensing, laser communications, and lidar sensors for NASA, DoD, and commercial customers. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our division at the Army Research Laboratory onsite in Adelphi, MD. Your Job The successful candidate will:

  • Provide accurate and reliable responses on a wide range of administrative functions as they apply to the Army Research Directorate, Office of the Director either as a personal advisory service to the Tier I Senior Executive Service Director or subordinate managers in the delivery of services to the Director and Office of the Director.
  • Coordinates the affairs of the Director and maintains liaisons with appropriate offices, and staff reporting to the Director while overseeing the flow of work through the office to ensure its expeditious processing.
  • Evaluate program documents, requests, and proposals prior to submission to the Director; coordinates with the Deputy Director and staff on the priority of materials to be presented for consideration, highlights areas of concern and report to the Director on controversial or sensitive matters.
  • Actively manages Tier I Senior Executive Service calendars and makes arrangements for meetings or conferences including DTS Travel, reserving meeting rooms, notifies participants attending the meetings, and prepares reports of the proceedings.
  • Prepare for and coordinate senior-level visits and high-level events and meetings, ensuring arrangements of security clearances, VIP parking, and building access. Research and prepare background information on attendees, and plan and develop meeting agendas.
  • Review information from staff meetings and weekly reports to determine those that require action; develop and maintain a system to generate reminders for completion deadlines.
  • Review all correspondence/assessments/packages intended for action for their content, accuracy, and completeness by ensuring information, background, and references and editing for appropriate format, grammar, and spelling Required Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor of Science desired
  • Proactively demonstrates initiative, motivation, and drive; Thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Proficiency in Government systems including GFEBS, ATAAPS, DTS, TED.
