In this role you will lead and drive the implementation of security controls in Azure cloud environments, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of critical projects. You must have a passion for technical program management, security compliance, and driving innovation. Responsibilities:
- Interface with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and prioritize tasks.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure program/project completion within schedule and budget constraints.
- Lead and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to provide project updates, gather feedback, and address concerns.
- Collaborate with engineering, security, and compliance teams to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement in security measures.
- Monitor and track project progress, identify issues and risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate potential delays or obstacles.
- Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external partners to ensure alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in technical program management, with a focus on implementing security controls in cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of security compliance standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven track record of successful project ownership and leadership, with a minimum of 5-8 years of experience in project management.
- Excellent conflict management skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate solutions effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to navigate complex, evolving environments and requirements.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 8-10 years of overall experience in the field, with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in technical program management.
- Certifications in project management (e.g., PMP) or security (e.g., CISSP) are beneficial but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking, with a focus on driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Salary Range Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market. The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state: $120,000 to $140,000 USD/annually. The salary/wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
