Duties, Responsibilities & Other
    Supports the Principal and/or Assistant Vice President in managing division project work and deliverables.
  • Oversees project schedules, budgets, and QA/QC process; assists in preparing proposals for all projects managed by the group.
  • Supervises and mentors staff and is responsible for allocation of manpower within the group.
  • Assists Principal and/or Assistant Vice President in business development/marketing of technical division.
  • Keeps informed of new developments and requirements affecting the organization for the purpose of recommending changes.
  • Responsible for monitoring and achieving project financial goals across a market and/or client base.
  • Develop new client relationships through networking and attending industry functions.
  • Expands and maintains relationships with clients, creates a positive brand image, builds lasting relationships focused on added value for the client.
  • Subject matter expertise in relevant market and services and expected to present on expertise.
  • Pursuit lead and project manager on large scale projects and contracts. This includes oversight of multi-discipline projects, both where McLaren operates as the prime and as a subconsultant.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. Appropriate graduate level work. Master's degree preferred.
  • 6 - 10 years of professional experience. PE Required.
  • The target candidate will have experience in planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring projects involving both overhead and underground engineering systems.
  • Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment. Background and motor vehicle checks may be required based upon position.
