Telecom Wireline SR Project Manager must have wireline underground construction experience. Responsibilities As a SR Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing project strategies that will exceed client project expectations as you manage day to day project level schedules, financials, and overall execution progress. You will work directly with customers and have project P&L responsibility to include, but not limited to, establishing project budgets, cost and revenue forecasts, variance analysis, and AP/AR management to include cash flow management. In addition, you will: Plan and monitor projects - develop of a detailed plan, identify objectives, key stages, resources, and timelines. Manage resources - allocate and optimize human, financial, and material resources for the project. Identify, evaluate, and proactively manage all risks associated with the project. Manage and lead internal and external project teams to ensure on-budget and on-schedule delivery. Report and communicate to the external customer(s) and internal management each day. Build processes and teams required to deliver all project requirements. Coordinate with the Project Engineering and Construction teams for schedule planning, execution, and closeout of projects. Lead weekly/monthly meetings with the client and project team. Ensure project completion and invoicing processes as required while achieving organizational cash flow expectations. Perform other duties as required and/or assigned to meet Client and organizational goals. Necessary Skills: Safety is a part of your day and first priority of each day. Ensuring that a project safety culture is the first requirement of a Project Manager. Knowledge of applicable safety training requirements for the project services as required along with knowledge of OSHA standards. Project Management Institute PMP certification or a minimum of five years equivalent project management experience in the following knowledge areas: Integration Management Scope Management Schedule Management Cost Management Quality Management Resource Management Communications Management Risk Management Procurement Management Stakeholder Management Knowledgeable in OSP fiber optic network engineering and construction best practices to include knowledge of ESRI/GIS systems and processes is preferred but note required. College degree or equivalent experience preferred. You have a track record of completing work with a high level of quality. You have a knack for figuring out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to your work. You have advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Intermediate experience in scheduling theory, management, and scheduling software. You thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities. You are proficient at reading project engineering designs and construction documents accurately. You have the ability to read blueprints accurately. You have the ability to communicate progress, highlight issues, and provide recommendations to senior leadership. Have safety training and knowledge of OSHA requirements. You have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field of study. You have 10 or more years of construction project experience. You have 3 or more years of supervisory experience. You have professional Engineer (P.E.) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. You have a fundamental knowledge of Primavera P6. You have an OSHA 10 Certification. Hard work pays off.
