- Able to define and lead large, complex teams with membership drawn from business, technical, and vendor sources.
- Interact closely with the client and partners to define the program or project scope and to develop detailed project artifacts as defined by the client's project methodology.
- Translate customer requirements into schedules and tasks using knowledge of the industry and delivery methodology.
- Be able to recover troubled projects in-flight, provide leadership to drive changes and deliver success
- Listen, learn, and incorporate feedback from management and other project managers on expectations, deliverables, and overall project control. Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience managing a portfolio of complex initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business
- Full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment for one major or several minor initiatives simultaneously
- Experience providing status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across multiple stakeholders
- A thorough understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
- Ability to define, discover and manage project risks and issues
- Strong experience with structuring and executing change management processes and procedures
- Understands and follows the consultative approach as part of core work style.
- Disciplined, organized, and team-oriented work style with excellent facilitation, communication and presentation skills Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS required, Master's Degree preferred
- PMP certification required, or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of direct program and/or project experience on increasingly complex projects
- 5+ years working as a consultant or as an independent contractor.
- Experience implementing ERPs (preferably Workday).
