Overview:

We have an immediate need for project schedulers at all levels for power generation projects throughout the Gulf region for our client who is a leading construction and engineering company renowned for delivering complex projects across diverse industries. This person will work closely with construction and engineering to develop schedules, track milestones and ensure stakeholders are updated on progress of the project.

Locations:

Candidate must be based on site at one of the below project location:

  • Port Arthur, TX
  • Greenville, MS
  • Vicksburg, MS
  • Holly Ridge, LA

Qualifications

  • 3-15 years scheduling experience (pay is based on expertise)
  • Proficiency with computers and software, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of, or a willingness to learn about, various project controls software, such as in Eight Suite, Primavera P6, etc.
  • Ability to travel and/or relocate as needed.
  • Ability to freely access all points of a construction site in wide-ranging climates and environments.
  • Highly motivated, with a passion for excellence and taking initiative.
  • Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help ensure that nobody gets hurt.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of power generation projects.
  • Utilize Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office for effective project tracking and reporting.
  • Collaborate with supply chain management to optimize inventory levels and control.
  • Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance production efficiency.
  • Forecast demand and adjust production plans accordingly, utilizing ERP systems like SAP and Oracle.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
