Sr. QA : Automation Testing with Cypress (Remote) Onsite Location : Charlotte, NC Qualifications
  • 6 to 9 yrs. of QA Automation experience
  • Required : Cypress (Typescript/JavaScript), PactumJS, API testing
  • Good experience in writing simple to complex queries
  • Proven experience in testing diff API's
  • Good knowledge on JIRA in writing test cases, and test execution
  • Should have Agile and JIRA working experience
  • Nice to have : AWS knowledge, JIRA with Agile experience
Roles & Responsibilities
  • Assess software quality through Cypress/TypeScript automation testing with JavaScript/PactumJS, along with strong SQL knowledge
  • Detect and report bugs and glitches
  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective processes and test plans
  • Implement test cases(manual or automated), and analyze results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Build logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post release post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Evaluate API/web services using Postman or SOAP UI.
Work Authorization Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.) Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until 12/06/24 The annual salary for this position is between $53,477/- to $92,500/- , depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
