Job Type Full-timeDescriptionLitron is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Quality Specialist to oversee our quality department and ensure compliance with industry standards in the aerospace and medical sectors, including NADCAP. In this role, you will lead a team of quality assurance professionals and drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest quality standards.The Sr. Quality Specialist is responsible for overseeing the quality department, ensuring that the customer is our first priority. This role involves supporting quality initiatives and maintaining compliance with industry standards, while promoting a culture of quality throughout the organization.This position is located in Agawam, MA and is Full-time onsite. Requirements• Lead a team focused on quality, setting departmental goals aligned with company standards and strategic initiatives.• Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and best practices.• Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with industry regulations (NADCAP, AS9100, ISO-13485).• Ensure QMS supports both internal and external audits.• Create, maintain, and perform internal audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to address quality-related challenges.• Transfer all quality documentation from hard copy to digital formats and maintain up-to-date records.• Manage the MRB process and disposition of NMR/Rework documentation for non-conforming products.• Review Certificates of Conformance (C of C) for potential errors and ensure compliance with relevant industry standards.• Investigate customer complaints and non-conformances, developing action plans to prevent recurrence.• Ensure effective communication with customers regarding quality issues and resolutions.• Create and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) monthly.• Open and close Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs) and track all relevant data.• Keep the management informed of any issues that may adversely affect the company's well-being.• Attend meetings as necessary and perform any other duties assigned by management.• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.• Adhere to company policies as outlined in the employee handbook.• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and current revisions is essential.• The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained while supporting the overall goals of the organization.• 5+ years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or medical sectors.Minimum Qualifications• Proven experience in managing a quality department and leading a team.• Strong knowledge of NADCAP and relevant regulatory standards.• Proficient in quality management software and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management systems.• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
