More information can be found at www.coopersurgical.com.ResponsibilitiesThis position will support the day-to-day operations of the Research and Development department including the budget oversight support such as purchasing and invoicing activities. This person will partner with both internal and external stakeholders and will be vital in the completion of organizational and administrative support needed for meeting business commitments.Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Establish and cultivate strategic relationships with internal teams, suppliers, vendors, and consultants.
- Act as a point of contact for suppliers and 50 plus vendors.
- Responsible for company credit card including budget and monthly coding.
- Accountable for management of purchase orders and new vendor set up when needed.
- Liaison of department to Finance team as it relates to department budgets and purchases.
- Responsible for order placement of department supplies.
- Books meeting rooms for colleagues and arranging meeting schedules across different time zones.
- Processes invoices, tracking of receipts, inputting of expenses and other bookkeeping tasks in timely and accurate manner.
- Supports organizing and planning of department events and conferences.
- Support leaders with onboarding of new hires including equipment requests.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

- Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent education is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in relatable position.
- Experience with financial and/or accounting support is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in multi-tasking, organizing and prioritizing is a must.
- Highly organized and ability to shift to different tasks as needed.
- Ability to accomplish tasks with quality and attention to detail.
- Must be timely in tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrates a high degree of integrity and discretion.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office Suite is a must. Experience with MS Project and/or SmartSheet is a plus.
- Plan capacity and solve problems under pressure.
- Positive attitude ability to partner professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
