As a key contributor, you will be responsible for driving improvements in plant reliability, implementing defect elimination strategies, and optimizing our physical assets. The role involves developing and implementing Maintenance and Reliability (M&R) strategies, supporting the Reliability Excellence process, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of M&R strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify, investigate, and implement engineering solutions to prevent and eliminate defects in critical plant assets.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for reliability within the company.
- Direct Asset Capability and Asset Mechanical Reliability objectives for the site.
- Facilitate the Root Cause Investigation (RCI) process and maintain a reliability model for identifying improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement training programs for facility personnel on M&R best practices.
- Support Talent Management by developing effective and diverse leaders focused on operational excellence.
- Actively champion Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) programs and cultivate a strong safety culture.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or related engineering field.
- 5+ years of Maintenance or Reliability experience in a chemical manufacturing facility.
- Specialization in at least one discipline (Reliability Best practices, or Rotating, Fixed, Electrical, or Instrumentation).
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and experience using Reliability Centered Maintenance techniques.
- Proficiency in various computer programs.
- Thorough understanding of safety in manufacturing areas and compliance with EH&S programs.
- General knowledge of production management and plant processes.
- Willingness to adapt to a challenging and evolving environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8-10+ years of Maintenance or Reliability experience.
- Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP).
- Supply Chain certification (Six Sigma, Lean, APICS, etc).
- Training in Weibull, RCI, FMEA, RCM, RBI, Modeling, etc.
- Project Management experience and knowledge.
- Certification with the International Society of Automation is beneficial.
- Professional engineering license in mechanical, chemical, or electrical engineering is desirable
