Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Associate to join our in vivo pharmacology team with a focus on oncology. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating novel ADC based oncology therapeutics in pre-clinical models. Hands on experience and knowledge of mouse oncology models and cancer biology are required. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and communicating in vivo data to support the progression of oncology focused programs. Title and compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute, troubleshoot and analyze in vivo pharmacology experiments (efficacy CDX models, PK/PD)
  • Perform cell culture, tumor inoculation, therapeutic dosing, tumor measurements and collecting tissues from rodent in vivo studies.
  • Contribute to pre-clinical model development, optimization and characterization
  • Adhere to proper animal handling and ethical standards, ensuring all procedures are performed according to established guidelines.
  • Interface with cross-functional project team members, and participate in and present at project team meetings and cross-departmental team meetings

Qualifications & Prior Experience required:

  • BS or MS in Biology, Pharmacology or a related discipline
  • >4 years of hands-on in vivo model research experience in an industry setting
  • Must have a strong work ethic and be enthusiastic about animal and laboratory work
  • Expertise with mouse models of human cancer
  • Proficiency with various mouse handling techniques including dosing (IV, PO, subcutaneous, IP), tumor inoculation/measurements, in life and terminal blood collection, collection and handling of tissues during necropsy and processing for ex vivo analysis
  • Experience with sterile tissue culture, and molecular and basic cellular biology techniques
  • Computer literacy, especially proficiency with GraphPad Prism, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Perform timely data verification and ensure accuracy for laboratory notebooks, protocols and reports
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on day-to-day responsibilities and research goals
  • Must be detail-oriented, punctual, reliable and available on weekends when necessary
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
