Insight Global is looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join one of our largest industrial clients. This highly motivated and hands-on individual will be responsible for developing integrated applications for new gas analyzer products from the ground up utilizing C# and Java. This individual must have an excellent understanding of SQL queries and stored procedures. They will be overseeing the work of an offshore development team and must be a strong team player with the ability to wear several hats. This is an onsite position based out of Dexter, MI. - Embedded systems background - Project Manager background - HazLoc/Hazard Location or Atex experience - Sensor or laboratory background - 5+ years of Software Engineering and Development experience - Ability to utilize C# for writing and debugging WPF projects and REST services - Strong SQL background - Previous coding experience with Java and TypeScript - Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, etc. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Must work 5 days onsite in Dexter, MI
