We're assisting a well-funded startup in NYC with their search for Sr. Software Engineers. Their product is AI-powered conversation intelligence software for outside sales. It allows sales managers to analyze their reps' meetings in a much quicker and more efficient way. The role will be onsite (6 days a week) and they are hiring multiple engineers in this capacity. What you'll do:
- Build high-quality products very fast.
- Contribute to building new features from scratch as they push forward the technical roadmap.
- Have empathy for the users and build solutions for them. And you'll be able to do this without any explicit planning or expectations.
- Push for a high bar for the quality of their codebase and their technical decisions. You'll help in setting the standard for the future as they scale the engineering organization.
- Scale yourself. Being an early-stage company, you will need to grow in both leadership and execution as the company scales.
- Help recruit future engineers to expand the team.
What you'll bring:
- 4+ years of experience building software across the entire stack, from backend to frontend
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment, building 0-1, and scaling products
- Experience with cloud infra
- Ability to move fast and iterate quickly.
- A customer-first mindset and an interest in talking with customers to make sure what we're building meets their needs.
- Experience owning technically challenging projects.
- Excited to work in-person with the team 6 days/week in NYC
Nice to haves:
- Bonus points if you have experience in mentoring engineers and interviewing!
- Previous engagement in hackathons, entrepreneurship clubs (in school), VC fellowships, etc.
