Responsibilities:

To help us meet our mission LOTTE BIOLOGICS is in need of a Sr Specialist, Accounts Payable to oversee all LOTTE BIOLOGICS AMERICA (LBA) Accounts Payable (AP) duties including payment schedules, tracking of invoice payments, cross functional coordination and more. This role will also provide backup to various roles within the finance team. The candidate must be a self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Lead point of contact for LBA Accounts Payable.
  • Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation.
  • Ensures credit is received for outstanding memos.
  • Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions.
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Protects organization by keeping information confidential.
  • Coordinate/resolve invoice questions with team members and vendors.
  • Partner with LBA Treasury Manager.
  • Support monthly Cash Flow forecasts.
  • Support month end closing activities.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and follow up on required adjustments.
  • Collaborate with LOTTE Korea representatives.
  • Support external and internal audit readiness as required.
  • Ensure LOTTE Group compliance related to AP.
  • Strong communication skills and a dedicated team player.
  • Support special projects.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Remote Position: false Min Compensation : USD $60,000.00/Yr. Max Compensation : USD $88,000.00/Yr. Bonus: 8% Qualifications:

Education/Experience/ Licenses/Certifications:

  • Bachelors degree in accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance or related discipline. In the absence of a degree, directly related job experience serving in an accounting-related role, where a number of years have proven knowledge may offset the degree requirement.
  • Prior experience with contracts, PO, AR and AP.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, etc:

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions
  • Excellent analytical skills and accuracy, attention to detail is a must.
  • Experience in the manufacturing or biopharma industry (CDMO) is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Work location is in an open-office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting/standing at a desk and working on a computer.
