Together, you won't stop!Position: Sr. State Government Account Executive - Hybrid RoleIndustry: Telecommunications ServicesJob Category: Sales / Marketing - Business Development / New AccountsLocations available: Kansas City, KS; Kansas City, MO; Topeka, KS; or Jefferson City, MORole Overview:The Sr. State Government Account Executive focuses on the customer life cycle, supporting the growth of State and Local Government accounts. Your primary responsibilities will be to sell to State and Local accounts, renew contracts, increase customer satisfaction, and improve revenue while driving customer retention activity. This is a new business development role, prospecting and hunting for new business.Key Responsibilities:New Sales Activities: Use contact lists to call leads and generate sales opportunities. Exceed monthly sales, renewal, and churn target goals. Welcome customers, review service agreements, answer questions, and probe for additional business.Account Management: Establish and nurture customer relationships to drive sales and increase the customer base. Complete business customer account maintenance and provide account analysis to determine up-sell and renewal offers. Resolve customer issues and track individual account activity and results.Data Management: Extensive data entry, system navigation, and utilization required. Perform independent analysis and make sophisticated decisions related to information. Ensure accuracy and efficiency in data entry.Continuous Training: Maintain knowledge of products, services, and sales approaches through continuous training. Use automated knowledge systems and training tools to deliver outstanding service.Productivity Goals: Attain productivity and sales goals based on targeted metrics. Meet or exceed all departmental goals and business objectives.Team Support: Demonstrate positive and coordinated behavior with customers and coworkers.
