Job Description:
Manages client relationships focused on building, enhancing or sustaining partnership value across clients' portfolio throughout development and commercialization continuum. Strategic account leadership with governance of assets, resources, technology, and processes required to support the designated customer portfolio. In this capacity, the individual will liaise with program oversight of all projects as well as lead partnership-level governance committee(s). Facilitates the strategic development of the assigned clients' book of business - in volume and in additional innovative strategic models with consideration of healthcare stakeholders. Mobilizes relevant functions within the organization to address evolving client needs. Liaise between the client and a variety of IQVIA's sales, delivery, and related functions.Essential Functions
  • Lead strategic planning, direction, and support to business/strategic development initiatives for designated customers.
  • Directs designated customer accounts globally by providing leadership oversight to customer and IQVIA assigned project teams (includes Clinical, MedTech, Real World, Technology, Commercial, etc.). Aligns teams for continuity and effectiveness. Encourage implementation of tools to drive partnership best practices.
  • Accountable for the development and management against key customer rules of engagement and/or operational norms.
  • Liaise with operational oversight to direct the delivery against key metrics, milestones, and contractual obligations for a project portfolio. This includes expectation setting and management against quality, time, and financial objectives (e.g., project & portfolio margin targets).
  • May serve as the primary operational management contact globally to a designated customer account, especially instances with multiple therapeutic areas involved; responsible for driving and ensuring appropriate communication channels are maintained, and key customer expectations transcend the organization and are adhered to across the portfolio of projects.
  • Align with sales to lead the review of a customer pipeline, pending opportunities, and future customer needs in support of the quarterly development of forecasts to the designated customer accounts (e.g., project management, IQVIA Laboratories, Phase I, ECG, data management, clinical operations, biostatistics, technology, real world, etc.).
  • Act as the key relationship manager for designated customers; serve as the primary management holder for a designated customer escalation plan, liaise with team members to recommend courses of action regarding client management issues; implement requisite action plans.
  • Serve as a member of the designated customer Operations and Governance Committee(s).
  • Responsible for participation in the development and support of customer sales initiatives; activities to include, proposal and budget development, commercial feasibility of potential programs and impact on company operations and goals.
  • Lead, oversee and manage the enterprise to ensure global customer best practices are adhered to by individuals assigned to projects for the designated customer accounts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, CRO, or related industries; experience to include expertise in medical technology/medical device, clinical operations, commercialization and /or alternative functional areas (e.g., business development, data management, project management, real world evidence, epidemiology, laboratory, pre-clinical, etc.)
  • Past experience working with/for MedTech/Medical Device organizations and/or Real World Services companies preferred.
Knowledge
  • Requires exceptional business knowledge to drive results for the organization.
  • Applies extensive business and industry expertise and provides organizational thought leadership.
Education
  • Degree in Life Science, Business Management, or related field
  • Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $153,200.00 - $284,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
