Overview:The Sr. TA Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and attracting top talent to onboarding new hires. This role requires a strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of the company's culture and hiring needs.Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Strategy: - Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain high-quality candidates.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and create tailored job descriptions.
- Assist in building and sustaining relationships with colleges, universities, technical programs, and outreach organizations.
- Oversee and manage the LinkedIn Careers page, ensuring consistent branding and engagement to attract top talent.
- Facilitate and support early career and internship programs.
Sourcing Candidates:- Utilize various channels (job boards, social media, networking events, career fairs, etc.) to identify and engage potential candidates.
- Oversee and maintain job postings across multiple professional platforms to ensure visibility and attract qualified candidates.
- Build a wide candidate funnel and build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.
Screening and Interviewing: - Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, providing guidance on interview techniques and evaluation criteria.
Candidate Experience:- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback.
- Act as a liaison between candidates and hiring teams, addressing any questions or concerns.
- Extends offers of employment under the direction of hiring managers and within approved budgetary guidelines.
Collaborative Hiring:- Work closely with HR and department leaders to align recruitment efforts with organizational goals.
- Conduct market research and provide competitive market salary data to hiring managers to inform compensation decisions.
- Participate in hiring committees and provide input on candidate selection.
Onboarding:- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
- Conduct orientation sessions and facilitate training as needed.
Data Management and Reporting:- Maintain accurate records of recruitment activities and candidate information in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment metrics and trends to inform strategic decisions.
Continuous Improvement:- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment.
- Recommend improvements to the recruitment process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of full cycle talent acquisition experience
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes and techniques.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and recruitment software (e.g., UKG, Lattice)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the technology, pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry strongly preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
