Leveraging your expertise, you will review testing plans, methods, and equipment to guarantee product reliability and regulatory compliance. By analyzing quality data and conducting detailed inspections, you will help drive continuous improvement, ensuring that products and processes meet the highest quality benchmarks. Your attention to detail in reviewing audits, forms, and communications will ensure seamless quality implementation across the organization.
What You Will Do:- Work under general supervision to assist in the development and implementation of program quality plans, ensuring alignment with the Collins Quality process and procedures.
- Review testing plans, methods, and equipment to ensure the reliability of products in conjunction with design and specification requirements.
- Analyze quality data to determine if products and processes comply with regulatory standards, driving continuous improvement in quality.
- Conduct basic to moderately complex quality analyses and inspections, ensuring adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Review flowcharts, forms, communications, and audits to ensure effective quality implementation and compliance with industry standards.
- This is a 2nd Shift Position
Qualification You Must Have:- HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Must be able to pass FAA airworthiness and conformity training to conduct test article inspections and issuance of airworthiness certificates (FAA 8130 and EASA/CAA Form 1).
- Show evidence of at least 12 months of experience working with commercial aerospace quality systems, including working knowledge of material handling, shipping, receiving, storage, inspection processes, data systems for inspection, and design data applicable to the article.
- Show evidence of at least 36 months of experience with quality control methods and techniques and have been involved in either the actual issuance of or having responsibility for managing programs leading to the issuance of original domestic or export airworthiness approvals for articles of the same type and complexity as those for which authorization is sought. This should include knowledge of:
- First article
- Quality assurance provisions of special processes (e.g. heat treating, welding, brazing, etc.)
- Destructive and non-destructive inspection
- Manufacturing processes
- Airworthiness assurance
- Use of FAA Approved type design data.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
