Description: Receive, check, store and issue all types of tools, dies, gages, fixtures, shop and manufacturing supplies and hardware for all shop departments. Work from manufacturing schedules, verbal instructions, operation sheets and written requests to make accurate and timely transactions with respect to crib stock arrangements and availability. Prepare complete tool kits for various manufacturing and assembly operations. Tools to include machine cutting tools, templates, as well as, hand tools. Maintain up to date records using electronic computer aided systems Use electronic systems to make required adjustments to inventory records. Prepare and complete all related paper work and reports required. Check all incoming materials against accompanying paper work and store in proper location. Check stock limits and initiate necessary requisitions to replenish supplies when indicated. Plan and conduct periodic inventories and report irregularities. Maintain storage area in clean and orderly condition.
