DescriptionImplement the project site safety, health requirements put forth in the Company's Safety Management Program.Guide and support the Project Management Team in all aspects the company's safety culture programs. Be 100% familiar with the requirements of the contract specifications and ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental issues.Make daily inspection rounds to observe and guide personnel in safe work practices and methods.Participate in project progress meetings and stay of task scheduling to ensure that potential workplace hazards are discussed, and safe work practices planned.Assist and guide Site Supervisors in preparation and execution of Weekly Safety Toolbox Meetings.Participate in pre-shift meetings and guide the crews in preparation of AHA. Liaise with HSE Director, as necessary, to address project safety, health, and environmental compliance issues.Requirements
- TWIC Card Required
- Must have knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations for construction.
- Able to research and interpret federal, state, and local rules, regulations and law pertaining to safety and environmental.
- Minimum of five years of experience in marine construction safety.
- Must have OSHA 30 training certificate.
- Must possess good oral and written communication skills.
- Computer proficient.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Extensive travel is required. Rotation schedule is 14 days on and 7 days off.
- RMS Experience
- Have or willing to complete EM 385-1-1 Certification.
