St. Peter's Health Partners - Clinical Dietician - Full Time
St. Peter's Health Partners is looking for full time clinical dietitian to oversee the nutrition management of all patients in assigned areas which involves nutritional assessment and care plan development. Responsibilities:
Responsible for the nutrition management of all patients in assigned areas. Includes enteral and parenteral nutrition support, assessment/reassessment, care plan development, education, goal definition/implementation, and monitoring of patient outcomes (i.e. progress towards goals). Responsible for medical record documentation accordance with defined policy and procedure. Development and participation in system wide performance improvement activities and unit specific multidisciplinary activities. In-servicing to medical and nursing staff on clinical nutrition and food service issues. Completion of required in-servicing on patient nutritional management. Appropriate practice of infection control measures i.e. response to isolation precautions. Direction of food service staff as needed. Serve as a mentor to other clinical dietitians and as the coordinator of dietetic interns throughout the system. Electronic menu system utilization and management. Participation in food and nutrition management activities as requested.
Requirements:
Masters' of Science Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics (Didactic Program for Dietetics) preferred - or Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics with five years clinical experience. Completion of Dietetic Internship; Registered Dietitian. Certification with New York State as Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist preferred. Certified in Nutrition Support or Pediatrics within 12 months of hire date.
Pay Range: $31.97-$42.21
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
