Let the competitions begin at Dolly Parton's Stampede Dinner and Show! We're seeking friendly, fast-paced individuals to join us in the barn for our 11am - 7:30pm shift.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Capable and comfortable working with and around animals of all sizes.
- Monitor physical fitness and health of barn animals, report accordingly to management.
- Care for barn animals by providing feed, fresh water, and clean spaces.
- Perform daily inspection of animals for soundness and or appearance.
- Communicate with performers accordingly when it pertains to barn animals.
- The stable hand position may require cross training in other areas of the production department.
Qualification Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Education requirements include high school diploma / GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
- Continuous standing & walking on level ground as well as up and down steps/ladders.
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, and balancing.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pulling, and pushing of barn equipment/tools.
- Occasional operation of tractor.
