Position Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Item Processing Specialist to join our operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing various financial transactions accurately and timely while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Process checks, deposits, and other financial transactions efficiently.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and transaction processing within the financial institution's system.
  • Balance and reconcile daily transaction totals.
  • Research and resolve discrepancies in processed items.
  • Maintain and update records of all processed transactions.
  • Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and documentation for audits.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries related to item processing.
What We're Looking For:
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • One to two years' experience in item processing or a related field.
  • A current driver's license.
