A growing food & beverage manufacturing company in Nassau County is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate would have basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge and be eager to learn!
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the CFO and accounting staff to ensure accuracy of all financial activity
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules according to monthly close schedule
- Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Perform account reconciliations and invoicing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
- 1 - 5 years' experience in accounting
