**Overview**
The ABM Enterprise Services Center seeks a self-motivated individual eager to advance their career. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate as a business partner with the FP&A and operations teams within a shared services environment.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Execute month-end closing tasks promptly for designated areas, including:
+ Inputting data into the general ledger
+ Managing debits and credits
+ Managing reconciliations
+ Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements.
+ Consistently apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
+ Provide expert guidance on accounting matters to field personnel.
+ Proactively identify and prepare journal entries for assigned areas.
+ Drive and implement process improvements within the accounting function.
+ Identify, analyze, and communicate variances and their underlying drivers.
+ Conduct detailed trend and account analyses.
+ Deliver exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders.
+ Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts with precision.
+ Prepare and review journal entries.
+ Develop Prepared by Client (PBC) schedules and support external and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) audits.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ 0-2 years of Accounting experience.
+ Bachelors degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent experience in accounting.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Effective verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proven track record of process improvement and optimization.
+ Experience in conducting reconciliations and preparing journal entries.
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
+ Strong customer service orientation.
+ Knowledge of JDE/ORC Cloud preferred but not required.
