In 2024 Air Specialty became a part of The Industrial Service Group (ISG). ISG supports brands, services, and products providing routine maintenance and repair to help keep plants running efficiently and avoid the high cost of unplanned downtime. Air Specialty & Equipment is seeking a talented Staff Accountant to join the accounting team. This position will be based in Corpus Christi and will report up to the Vertical CFO. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate transactional books and records of the business including the preparation of timely business unit financial reports.Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze journal entries
- Assist with month end close
- Record transactions, maintain ledgers and adjust journal entries
- Responsible for reconciling accounts and bank statement reconciliation
- Assist with audits
- Assist with financial statement preparation and review
Requirements
- 2-3 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Comprehensive knowledge of income statements, balance sheets and cash flow
- Detail oriented and analytical
- Results oriented work ethic and a team player mentality
- Advanced Excel
- Experience with Quickbooks is a plus
