Job Description:
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team and play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial operations. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to the success of our organization by performing comprehensive accounting, auditing, financial analysis, and reporting tasks. You will support the organization by handling budgeting, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions while adhering to our values of integrity and respect for all.Position Highlights:

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct detailed accounting functions, including general ledger management, budgeting, and financial analysis to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to management.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Support the annual budget preparation process, monitoring compliance with approved budgets.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures to ensure ethical financial practices.
  • Provide financial support to departmental projects and initiatives as needed.
Compensation is commensurate upon education and experience. Hiring compensation ranges from $24.10 per hour. This is a non-exempt position.Key Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Experience:
    • 1+ years of accounting experience required.
    • Experience in a large healthcare system preferred (3+ years).
  • Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move objects up to 30 pounds; prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Working Conditions: May be subject to irregular hours, including occasional nights, weekends, or holidays. Exposure to standard office and healthcare environments.
