Staff Accountant– Reading, PAThe OpportunityOur client is a very well established, mid-sized, and privately-owned food manufacturing company and has hired us to seek out a Staff Accountant for their Reading, PA.This position reports to the Controller and is responsible for performing accounting functions to maintain accurate records and support to corporate accounting.The ideal candidate will have experience:Preparing and maintaining financial and business transactions in accordance with GAAPManaging monthly and year-end closing activitiesProducing financial statementsPerforming reconciliations of balance sheet accounts including bank reconciliations.Recording sales and coordinating disbursements.Filing monthly PA Sales TaxQualifications include:BS Degree in Accounting5+ years of corporate accounting experienceFinancial analysis and cost experienceThe preceding is just a brief overview – contact us to find out more!Check out our website at www.availasearch.com!
