Details: L.J Gonzer Associates is looking for individuals to join our pool of qualified candidates for potential assignment as a Staff Analyst.
- Administration of various maintenance and repair contracts supporting the Department of Subways as well as the preparation of new contracts, field support, project management and special projects
- Perform onsite inspections of facilities to ensure contractor compliance with contract specifications/procedures, performs dur diligence, monitors quality, addresses concerns and maintains consistent follow-up on all outstanding issues
- Prepares necessary vendor evaluations and coordinates proposal preparation, develops scopes of work, cost estimates, project schedule and cost tracking of all projects
- Involved in writing project profiles and coordinating the review of Master Plans and design documents
- Participate in design kickoff meetings
- Review, coordinate, and process AWO's, RFI's, as built drawings, shop drawings, O&M manuals
- Process Beneficial Use and Final Acceptance certificates
Job RequirementsDetails:
- BS or BE in Engineering or in a related area
- 1-5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: contract/facilities management, environmental compliance; fire safety techniques; mechanical/electrical equipment for building; facility construction techniques
- Familiarity with procurement practices/procedures, knowledge of budget processes
- Familiarity with construction techniques
- Strong PC skills, including working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and other related programs.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
