Posting Summary
Rutgers School of Nursing is seeking a Full Time Staff Assistant for its Center for Professional Development, located in Newark, NJ.
The Staff Assistant provides administrative and CE program coordination for the Associate Dean of the Center for Educational Innovation & Quality (CEIQ) and the Director of the Center for Professional Development (CPD). Assists with the administrative and office management activities associated with Continuing Education. Ensures that JA accreditation status is maintained by way of preparing periodic reports. Provides general support by maintaining databases of all required statistics, calculates ongoing program statistics, fiscal reports. Writes, develops, coordinates, and processes payments for programs. Prepares certificates for any CE programs for the school
Duties will include:
* Assist with all School CE Program Offerings (live, online, webinars, and hybrid) and for reserving program sites, coordinating speakers, arranging catering, registering participants using CloudCME software tool, and run reports.
* Ensures all CE program participants receive the appropriate certificate documenting their CE credits.
* Initiate and process all communications with participants, issuing certificates, storing of all information on database for exams submitted.Assists, sorts, and handles data entry for all materials submitted by participants.
* Serve in a customer service position to respond to CE program registrants.
* Assists with tracking, updating, and expanding mailing lists from CloudCME.
* Assists with program accounting and budgets including project/program costs, contract costs, collection and deposits of registrations and contractual income, purchasing necessary office supplies, and keeping records of accounts in an Access Databas

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience Certifications/Licenses Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, Public or Business Administration, the Social Sciences or a related field, plus one (1) year of professional level experience in a business office, government agency, or university setting.
* Equivalent experience, education and/or training may be substituted for the education requirements
Preferred Qualifications Equipment Utilized Physical Demands and Work Environment Special Conditions
* Requires some flexibility regarding campus and site locations as well as scheduled hours within a 37.5-hour work week.
