If the position does not require a college degree, you are required to have at least a high school diploma. Candidates with academic training and degrees granted outside the U.S. must submit a credential evaluation report that includes a statement of degree equivalency from an accredited agency in the U.S.

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Assists with personnel actions and related human resources functions in a wide variety of administrative and technical tasks in the functional areas of hiring and administration of all provisions of collective bargaining agreements.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
1. Assists with the development and implementation of human resources programs, practices and procedures.
2. Completes verification of previous experience for instructional personnel.
3. Conducts audits of personnel information for compliance to collective bargaining agreements, federal and state requirements.
4. Assists with the hiring process of instructional, non-instructional positions.
5. Assists with the seniority process for all bargaining units.
6. Performs personnel actions in SAP as assigned by immediate supervisor.
7. Provides guidance and direction to all levels of M-DCPS administration regarding human resources policies, procedures and practices.
8. Performs other duties related to general administrative responsibilities of the position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This work requires the following physical activities: sitting, mobility, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity. The work is performed primarily indoors.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance or five (5) years of experience in related field.
2. Proficient word processing and spreadsheet skills and demonstrated knowledge of audit principles and practices.
3. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms.
