Job Description & RequirementsRN Charge Trauma Ortho PCUMemorial Hospital in Temple, TX, part of Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse to join our Ortho Trauma Progressive Care Unit (5 South). Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin. Schedule: Full Time - Nights - 36 hours per weekUnit SummaryThis is a 35-bed monitored nursing unit that provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging from adults to Geriatrics. The conditions that are within the scope of service include the following but are not limited to:Traumatic Complex FracturesElective Joint Replacements – Rapid Recovery ProgramSports InjuriesSpinal DeformitiesHip FracturesCompression FracturesPelvic FracturesSkeletal Malformations and AbnormalitiesAmputations and ProsthesisMedical Surgical patients including those requiring TelemetryElective Plastic surgery Tracheotomy Care and (Maintenance and support)-a Registered Nurse on this floor will develop top notch skills with Trach care compared to anywhere else in the hospital.QualificationsWe are looking for someone who has completed an established program in Nursing.At least (2) two years in the field.Registered Nurse License.You must have Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of being hired.
