Staff Development Coordinator Duties: - Registered Nurse with valid license
- Two years of clinical and/orsupervisory experience required (educational leadership experience preferred)
- Knowledgeable and passionate ingeriatrics, long term care, transitional care and assisted living
- Must possess a command of theEnglish language, both written and spoken. Ability to communicate effectivelyand maintain working relationships with nursing leadership, staff, co-workersand the public-verbally, in writing, and through presentation
- Possess computer experience withfamiliarly in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Competency with web-based training,computer set-up, and other audio-visual equipment
- Ability to use multiple and variedtraining methodologies in order to meet training needs of staff
- Knowledge of and ability toincorporate adult learning theory into daily practice (motivationaltheory/employee motivation, etc)
- Effectively plan/develop,coordinate, implement, track and evaluate an education, orientation &training program for licensed & non-licensed clinical care staff that isalso beneficial to staff across the organization
- Demonstrated experience managingorganizational change by strategically planned and designed educationalprograms
- Ability to write or modifycurriculum/course content to meet Windsor Care Center's needs
- Demonstrate strong leadership
- Ability to learn quickly and adaptto new industry standards and training
- Highly organized, willing to beflexible, and accommodate changing priorities
- Possess the ability to effectively work with leadership, theservice line team, staff, residents, vendors, and community members
Working Conditions: - Works in an office area as well as throughout the facility
