* Maintains a professional image and exhibits excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with our Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
* Provides oversight to patient care delivered by LPN and Certified Medical Assistant.
* Assesses needs of patients based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, telephone triage and analysis of diagnostic data.
* Renders professional nursing care including administering medications and intravenous fluids.
* Performs complex and routine treatments and diagnostic testing as prescribed by physicians.
* Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
* Utilizes appropriate health and safety equipment to protect both patient and staff.
* Utilizes critical thinking skills to respond to patient crisis, emergency situations, and changes in work environment.
* Coordinates patient care and teaching to improve patient outcomes.
* Demonstrates thorough and concise documentation of patient care delivery.
* Possesses knowledge of growth and development and ability to communicate to patients of all ages.
* Contributes to overall performance of the department through the orientation of novice employees and residents.
* Demonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational offerings.

Investigate system, work flow, patient care, and operational problems and make recommendations
Maintains and updates patient education materials and waiting room reading material on an ongoing basis
Assist Nurse Manager in the interviewing and hiring of New employees
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Education/Training:
* 2-4 year's work experience in nursing field
* Computer software / Electronic medical record keeping
Licenses and/or Certifications:
* Active Registered Nurse license verified by LLR
* BLS (required for all nurses)
