Staff Nurse - RN - Behavioral Health - Float Pool - Nights Nurses work independently, helping adult, adolescent and geriatric populations overcome unique challenges. We are now hiring for full time nights shift (6/12 hrs. shifts 7pm -7:30am & 1/8hr shift 11pm-7:30am) including weekend (Sat+ Sun) coverage shift at our New York Presbyterian Westchester Behavioral Health Center.
Preferred Criteria • Prior experience in inpatient psychiatric nursing • Psychiatric Nursing Certifications • PMH-NP Certification • Active Member of Shared Governance and Professional organization/s
Required Criteria • Bachelor's degree in nursing • Current New York State RN license • Knowledge of nursing process: social, behavioral, biological, and physical science • Knowledge of current health care environment and customer service principles • Knowledge of effective interpersonal communication skills • Knowledge of use of computer applications and the ability to analyze patient care data to deliver and evaluate care • BCLS certification • Complete Nurse Residency Program if new Graduate Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
