Eligible for Sign On Bonus and Relocation AssistanceSalary Range:Days: $41.82 - $53.42Evenings: $49.57 - $61.17Nights: $50.77 - $62.37All evening and night shifts include shift differentials.The base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. Shift differentials have been included in the range. Pay is determined by factors including relevant experience, qualifications, specialty, internal equity and contracts.Additional Highlights:On Call - $4.25 per hourVoluntary On Call - $2.75 per hourIn Charge Differential - $2.50 per hourPreceptor Differential - $3.00 per hourLongevity Differential AvailableGraduate from an accredited School of Nursing. 2 years recent (within 2 years) experience in critical care (ICU, PCU, Telemetry or Emergency Department. 1 year experience in Labor and Delivery Preferred. Possess a thorough knowledge of nursing principals, ability to provide quality patient care and assess patient's needs. Must be able to recognize safety issues to self and others. Demonstrate the use of lifts to move patients ina a safe manner. Must be flexible and able to function well in stressful situations. Ability to demonsatrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. May be required to assume duties as a Charge Nurse. Strong leadership skills with ability to prioritize and delegate. Excellent interpersonal organizational, Written and verbal communication skills required. Required to float to Emergency, ICY, PCU, Labor and Deliver and med surg.Minimum License Requirement : Current NYS RN license. BLS required. ACLS required or obtained within 3 months. PALS required with within 3 months of hire, IV and IV contrast administration certification required. Coronary care course or successful completion or challenge exam within orientation period.
