Job DescriptionENSCO has an opening for a mid-level Configuration Analyst to perform Configuration and Data Management (CDM) activities for the Propulsion Directorate. In this role, you would be a part of the team that is developing the next generation of aircraft engines for the US Air Force!In this role, you will perform as a subject matter expert of the acquisition lifecycle, providing guidance in executing CDM in line with industry standards, DoD policies and Air Force/AFLCMC instructions. You would provide acquisition expertise in the development of program requirements, SOW/PWS development, RFP packages, and Contract Data Requirement Lists. Furthermore, you will assist in the execution of technical evaluations to assess proposed actions to contract requirements.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesAs part of the candidate's primary duties, they will:•Develop, plan, and coordinate preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met•Review contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes•Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system•Support Configuration Control Board (CCB) via meeting attendance, capturing meeting minutes, and recording approved changes•Prepare for, conduct, and/or support major audits such as Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) or Functional Configuration Audits (FCA)•Assist the Government in developing and administering CM plans; maintaining design traceability and integrity; convening and managing change boards; and preparing for and attending major events including, but not limited to, Technical Interchange Meetings, Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, PCAs, FCAs, and CCBs•Assist the Government with configuration control for Electronic Records Management (ERP) and IT systems - This shall include configuration planning, data analysis, maintenance of configuration documentation and data, and maintaining inventory/configuration status•Review and analyze the weapon system development/sustainment contractor's CM program and data deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and compliance•Maintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting records•Report the weapon system development/sustainment contractor's data delivery status•Review and analyze of the weapon system development/sustainment contractor's conformance to CDRL requirements•Due to the sensitive nature of this task, this position will primarily be in-person at a Government facility in the Dayton area•This is a full-time position•Travel for this position is currently anticipated to be less than 10%, but could increase for short periods of time as the programs reach specific milestonesQualifications Desired•DAU DAWIA Certification•CM experience within the DoD environment•Experience performing the technical administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, and media labeling•Experience producing release notes and CM reports•Understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the CCB, and change control documentation•Experience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environments•Experience developing briefings for management•Understanding of all phases of the DoD's acquisitions life cycle•Ability to enter and manipulate data in a database (e.g., Lifecycle Management Process, Microsoft Access, SharePoint)#LI-TL1Qualifications Required (Skills)•10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience•Must be a US Citizen and possess a Secret security clearanceDivision DescriptionFor more than 50 years, ENSCO has been providing leading-edge engineering, science and advanced technology solutions to governments and private industries worldwide.ENSCO prides itself in creating and applying advanced technologies for mission success.
