In your new role you will:
* Work within defined technical processes and procedures or methodologies and may help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
* Work with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments
* Perform moderately complex and varied tasks and typical assignments
* Responsible for maintaining supply and quality parameters of chemical and slurry distributions.
* Responsibilities include drum/tote/isotainer chemical offloading to bulk tanks, chemical batch processing, SPC chart monitoring of processes, chemical sampling, and good communication to our customers.
* Maintain equipment uptime through maintenance which may include valve, PVV, filter, fittings, pumps, and other replacements or troubleshooting.
* Responsible for ensuring operations are conducted in a safe manner.
* Support 5S objectives through maintaining clean and organized space.
* Initiate and drive continuous improvements
* Ability to operate heavy machinery to include forklift, pallet jack, and drum crusher.
* Collaborate cross departmentally as needed and can cross train as a backup resource for chemical handling department.
* Shift: Night shift, 12 hours.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
* A relevant completed vocational / professional training of at least 3 years,
and:
* Additional subject-specific experience (3-5 years),
* Total knowledge and skills can also be acquired in other ways
* Working experience in a manufacturing environment
