Staffing Coordinator

New York Congregational Nursing Center is now hiring a Staffing Coordinator who is committed to providing the best care for our residents. Salary: $45,000-$55,000 (this is negotiable).

Responsibilities of the Staffing Coordinator:

  • Assist with preparing nursing department work schedules for each calendar month.
  • Assist with finding call-in replacements to meet corporate, state, and federal staffing guidelines.
  • Answer phone, assist visitors and residents, and relay communications.
  • Carry out additional administrative support as needed, including but not limited to: Recruiting and Retaining Staff, maintaining budget and ppd.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements of the Staffing Coordinator:

  • High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a long-term care setting.
  • Current certification as Nursing Assistant (CNA), preferred.
  • CPR certification.
  • Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet, and Intranet navigation.
  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
