Staffing Coordinator Job Description
Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Staffing Coordinator to provide support to the company's human resources operations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify company employee requirements and create a staffing strategy.
- Seek out and recruit new applicants.
- Assist with hiring, training and onboarding new employees.
- Work with hiring managers to schedule, screen, and organize interviews.
- Manage internship program, screening internship applicants, coordinate internship agreements.
- Coordinating with HR compliance team.
- Identify staffing and recruiting KPIs.
- Work with recruiting agencies when needed.
- Identify hard to fill roles and take proactive actions.
- Evaluate new staff.
- Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding.
- Create staffing reports, monitor employee performance and submit regular reports to management.
- Determine staffing shortfalls and report job vacancies and scheduling problems to management.
- Document all interactions.
- Create, maintain and update employee records, report progress and coordinate performance reviews.
- Complete ad hoc, database, and admin requests as needed.
- Support finance in coordinating payroll and timecards.
- Provide research assistance to projects.
- Special assignments as requested.
- Comply with all quality and company policies, holding the highest ethics and code of conduct.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
- A four year college degree is desired.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent writing skills necessary.
- Superior communication skills, interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of staffing trends and best practices.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office is required.
- Must possess solid organizational skills.
- Must be able to independently work to advance initiatives under rapidly changing conditions with minimum supervision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desired Education, Experience and Skills:
- MA in human resources, business administration or similar relevant field.
- More than one (2) years of direct Human Resources experience is a plus.
